If your iOS device is not connected to the internet when you try to add an athlete you may get the following error:
Offline: An internet connection is required to add an athlete to the cloud
The Step app needs to be able to connect to the internet in order to add an athlete to your database. It is highly recommended that you find an internet connection to add the new athlete.
Workaround: If you absolutely need to record a session with a new athlete before you can access an internet connection, you can record the session under a different athlete then change the time sync file to your new athlete after you have added them your account. See our reassigning time sync files article for steps on how to do this.
