What is Asymmetry?

Asymmetry is a comparison of the step intensities between the right and left legs. A difference in the number of steps and/or the intensity of steps taken will result in an asymmetry of load between the left and right legs. This can be used to monitor a potentially injured athlete who has an injury on one leg, or to monitor a player to make sure they aren't having any abnormal loading asymmetries that may lead to injury.
